Michelle is the Director and Principal Psychologist of Port Phillip Psychology, with over 30 years of experience helping individuals and couples work through life’s most complex and painful challenges.

If you’re dealing with sexual addictions, infidelity, loss of trust, intimacy issues, or feeling disconnected from your partner, Michelle offers a safe, confidential space to make sense of what’s happening and what comes next.

With a background in forensic psychology and over two decades in private practice, Michelle brings both depth and practical expertise to her work. She is highly experienced in supporting clients through:

  • Pornography and sexual addiction concerns

  • Loss of intimacy and sexual incompatibility

  • Communication breakdown and recurring conflict

  • Blended family and parenting stress

Michelle is extensively trained in the Gottman Method (Levels 1, 2 and 3), an evidence-based approach proven to improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connection. Her work is focused on helping you move from crisis and confusion toward clarity, understanding, and meaningful change.

Michelle draws on a range of evidence-based therapies, including:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT)

  • Solution Focused Therapy (SFT)

  • The Gottman Method for couples therapy
